New Bike...

Well, we went to Toys R Us to get Riley his free Thomas the Tank train (with the coupon I found on the net) and ended up with a new Spiderman bike for Riley that we'd been considering buying. So... Riley passed out before we got home which gave Justin some time to put his bike together before he awoke. Worked out perfectly. When Riley passes out anymore, I try not to let him sleep more than an hour or he'll never go to sleep!LOL... So Justin finished the bike and I woke Riley up! He wasn't real excited at first, but the excitement grew quickly when we told him we were going outside.

If you've never seen our house or driveway--well, let's just say it is a little steep for the new biker. Riley started going down the hill and was yelling "Heeellllllllppp." Dad decided it would be best for him to start on the road. It was a rocky start of a bike ride, he wanted us to hold onto him as he was scared, but that faded and he was off riding with Heather (our neighbor) down the road. We went to the spring and back. It was a nice outing for us and Riley had a ball.

Today (since it is early and quite hot out.) he is riding his bike indoors. He loves it. We will venture out this evening again, when it starts to finally cool down.

We were able to spend a couple days in MI with our good friends, Joel, Kerry and Jacob. Riley and Jake love hanging out and this visit was no exception. Our first night the boys were in dire need of a bath so of course we had a photo op--we may have to use these later :). Kerry and I were able to have girls night and went to a movie. The boys went to Canada the next night. It was a very short stay, but we always enjoy good friends and good company!!! Riley is still asking when we're going to Jakes or when Jake is coming over...

RIP Fred

September 1993-June 6, 2008. Our dear pet, Fred died today. Fred has been a part of our family since 1993!!! He has been in declining health for the last year and left this earth for a better place. Riley is pretty upset, he too loves Fred dearly. He will be missed by us all. RIP Fred.
